Art Events – Supporting the Friendship Circle with my Art Stand
Lately there have been quite a few art events things going on for me. I have attended a charity fashion show for the Friendship circle, which is group for young people with learning disabilities. The Friendship Circle provides a range of leisure and social opportunities that aim to confidence and opportunity for the people that attend. The Friendship Circle encourages young people to develop their social skills. They are able to build meaningful friendships with people who they wouldn’t normally socialise with. This will help the attendees to integrate into the wider community.
Here I had a stand where I could show case my artworks. The feedback I got from this event was amazing. In fact people were actually blown away by my art paintings.
Art Events – Exhibiting at the Bury Art Fair
The week after I had the honour of having my artwork approved to attend the Bury Art Fair which was an event organised by the Masa Art Gallery in Bury. The actual event itself was held in the Fusiliers Museum and was in aid of supporting the mayors local charities Bury Hospice, the RNLI and Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary. Now I am very pleased to say, that the Masa Gallery is now going to be exhibiting four of my art paintings. Very very happy indeed!
And Before I Forget, I have also sold three art prints from my Vision Within Art shop to a fellow colour commander. So all in all, it has been a good few days and its also kept me out of mischief too!!
