Who is the Vision Within Art?

My name is Lisa, and I am the colour creator, painter and marketer behind my Vision Within Art. All my life I have dabbled in Art to an extent, as I’ve studied it at GCSE level and diploma level but for one reason or another I stopped creating work. Being creative has always been there in the background, but now is the right time to unleash my whirlwind of colours and ideas to the world. Vision Within is about colour for your world.

What’s integral to your role as an artist?

One thing every artist needs is the ability to let the mind wonder. This usually happens, in my experience, when I’m doing mundane tasks, like the dishes or when I’m at work. It’s really frustrating as then you want to start on your idea straight away but you can’t!

I would also say I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my work and as corny as it sounds, I won’t settle for completing a piece of work that doesn’t please my eyes. I then know if I’m happy with my artwork, I will be proud to show the world my latest piece. The biggest conundrum then, is parting with an artwork you have grown and perfected from a duckling into a swan!! In other words the ART PARADOX!!!

What themes do you pursue in your Art?

There are quite a few things that have ¬†made Vision Within Art what it is today. First off I absolutely love my quotes, and if I’m feeling down on my luck I always read my quotes to pick me up. This was a complete no brainer and I knew I wanted to spread a positive message to others who may be depressed or anxious, so finding a hidden message in art seemed like a cool way to go! Colour is a another signature of my unique style. I want my work to stand out and be memorable for all the right reasons. It has to make an impact and when people see my work, I want them to instantly know it’s by Vision Within even if they haven’t seen the name on the work.

Stay tuned for more FAQs on the inner workings of my brain!

Best wishes, Lisa aka Vision Within Art
